Construction theft
Construction material valued at $500 was reportedly taken from a work site at the Bi-Mart store in the Public Square Shopping Center over the weekend. According to an entry on the North Bend Police log, the theft at 2131 Newmark St. was reported Sunday night, 5:57 p.m.
Intoxicated
An intoxicated male was arrested on a Probation Violation charge after a resident on the 1900 block of Monroe St. in North Bend “reported an intoxicated male subject in her yard.” According to an entry on the police log for Sunday, 3:14 p.m., 46-year old Joseph Boyd, transient, was taken into custody and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
Arrests
A traffic stop at Newmark and Broadway Sunday morning in North Bend resulted in two arrests. According to an entry on the police log for 11:24 a.m., 27-year old Jeffrey Pirtle, North Bend, charged with Probation Violation and cited for DWS – Violation and Driving Uninsured. Twenty-six year old Heather Ann Dooley, aka Jordan, was found to be wanted on two valid warrants for Failure to Appear on Dangerous Drugs charge out of Lincoln Co. and another charging Fraud out of Lauderdale Co. in Mississippi. Both were transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
