Marshfield ended the 5A Midwestern League dual season with a 62-10 win over visiting Springfield Wednesday night at the Pirate Palace in Coos Bay. The Pirates finished league matches with a 3-2 record, only falling to Thurston and Churchill. Against the Millers, it was senior night. Picking up pins for Marshfield were William Hargis (140), Jesse Moore (152), Steven Mayer (160), Cody Shipp (189) and Johnny Castro (285). The Pirates compete at the Cottage Grove Tournament Saturday, followed by the MWL District Championships at Churchill in west Eugene the following weekend.
